Summer School on European Business Law will take place from 7th to 11th September 2020.

The Law Faculty of Würzburg, Germany, welcomes law students and professionals from all over the European Union, including Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Croatia, Iceland and Macedonia. The participants are invited to expand on their knowledge of European Business Law. The first 150 participants to apply will be granted scholarships of 300 Euro each.

Lectures will be held in English by members of the Würzburg Faculty of Law. A general course on Private International Law and International Civil Procedure will be supplemented by special lectures on

  • International Credit and Security
  • International Soft Law and lex mercatoria
  • International Sales Law
  • International Commercial Arbitration
  • Regulatory Competition in Corporate Law.

Lectures will be accompanied by seminars and workshops where students will have an opportunity to present papers based on their national legal systems. Participants will be awarded 2 ECTS points.

Participants will have to pay the semester Fee of 137,90€ for the enrolment at the University of Würzburg without any additional tuition fee.

Established in 1992, Taylor’s Law School (TLS) is one of the top private law schools in Malaysia. The Malaysian Legal System Summer Programme is organised through collaboration with prestigious law firms to include the following:

  • Seminars on the Malaysian Constitution and legal instructions such as the Malaysian Parliament, the Attorney General, the Judiciary, the Syariah Courts and the legal profession.
  • Field Trips to the Parliament, High Court, Syariah Courts, Palace of Justice (where judicial courts and offices are housed), Attorney General’s Chambers, Legal Aid Center, Bar Council and the Orang Asli (Indigenous People) Settlement.
  • Internship placement at leading law firms in Malaysia, including those with international links.

Warm greetings from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)!

We are pleased to inform that the Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) 2020 at CUHK is inviting applications from overseas undergraduate students. SURP provides an opportunity to undertake research attachments for eight weeks at CUHK during the summer. Students will conduct research under the supervision of a CUHK faculty member and earn three credits upon successful completion of the programme. Students joining SURP will be provided with support so that they can get the most out of their time at CUHK, including cultural and social programmes, as well as guidance on health and safety.
