Welcome to the Second Webinar from Sheffield Bar Soc’s “Stay at Home Webinar Series”.The Second Webinar from the series is – “From the Subject of a Hearing to Commanding The Courtroom: Learning That Your Weakness is Your Strength” .

The speaker of the event is Charlotte Boateng-Kennett. She is a penultimate law student at the University of Bristol. Her ambitions are geared towards improving social justice and she is pursuing a career as a solicitor specialising in family law.

She was the subject matter of a Private Family Law case at her childhood and then became an Intern at the Ministry of Justice UK. Her story tells how weakness becomes the strength, and how her journey into becoming a Judge continues.

Each session will last 30 minutes and will consist of a short presentation by the host followed by the opportunity for a Q&A

The series is full of hosts who have diverse and unique experiences of the legal word. They range from students, to tenants to QC’s and each one of them has not only an interesting story but lots of great advice and insight into the law.
