Hi everyone, I’m Charlotte McGinley and currently the University of Sheffield representative for the Sheffield & District Law Society.

I’ll be letting you know about opportunities within the society to get involved with and wanted to make everyone aware of the chance to be in the society, it’s not just for qualified solicitors and barristers!

Free student membership 

If you are a Law Student in the Sheffield area you qualify for free student membership of the Sheffield & District Law Society. All you need to do is provide the society with your details and email address and they will do the rest! 

Being involved in this society means you are in contact with nearly 2000 other members within the Sheffield area, this means you can join social events, training courses and participate in the legal life of the city and region.

The Yorkshire Law Banquet and Awards.

28th February 7:00pm-1:00am at the Royal Victoria Crowne Plaza, Sheffield

The price will be reduced for students at £50+ VAT.

The ticket price includes: Arrival drink per person, 3 course evening meal, half a bottle of wine per person, live music and entertainment provided post dinner by La Fox Duo.
